“There is a reason why all things are as they are.”

October Nights is my shrine to Halloween and all things related to the season. I vividly remember the excitement of loggin on to the computer during the autumn season and immediately checking my go-to sites for Halloween goodness. Halloween.com, GhostDroppings, Rotting Flesh Radio, Halloween-Online, and others. They provided me with updates on haunted attractions, Halloween themed T.V. episodes, the latest greatest candy, and so much more. Some offered stencils for pumpkins while others where just blogs or podcasts. It didn't matter - I couldn't get enough.

Things have certainly changed since then; stencils are readily available, TV listings have been replaced by 24/7 streaming services, haunting music is easily accessible via playlists on various platforms... it's all so different now. It almost feels a little less special since everything is just a click or finger tap away at any time of the year. Perhaps I'm just getting much older and don't have the time to sit and take in the magic. No matter, I have been inspired to bring back that old feeling of niche seasonal sites on the internet with October Nights. I will offer some modern content mixed with nostalgic throwbacks. That's the plan, at least. I hope you enjoy this site as much as I enjoyed those that came before it and are now long gone.

Happy hauntings!
